Which domain would you like to check?

Which domain would you like to check?

Paste a domain or URL. Subdomains are normalized to the registrable domain.

We query the registry responsible for the extension. We do not replicate personal registrant contacts.

What you can check

One simple check. Three good reasons to use it.

Planning a renewal?

Check the expiry date when published. Confirm billing dates and renewal rules with your registrar.

Preparing a move?

Identify the registrar and nameservers before planning a transfer or hosting change.

Missing a detail?

The registry may not publish every field. We show what the source returned, without filling gaps with assumptions.

A few things to know before you check

How do Whois and RDAP differ?

Both provide registration data. This tool uses RDAP over HTTPS and the IANA extension directory to identify the responsible server. It does not use a copied third-party registration database.

Does the lookup identify the owner?

Those details are not always public. This tool shows administrative metadata and does not replicate identity documents, addresses or personal contacts. A registrar is different from a registrant.

Does no record found mean a domain is available?

No. RDAP 404 means the source did not find that record. Reservations, extension rules and commercial conditions still need to be checked through a registration search. Network errors and rate limits are not treated as 404.

Is the expiry date my invoice due date?

Not necessarily. The registry expiry date can differ from an invoice due date, your contracted renewal period, or any potential release date.

Do nameservers identify the hosting provider?

Not necessarily. DNS and hosting may be with different providers. These are the delegated names published by the registry, not a propagation check or confirmation of hosting.
