Check your website’s SSL

Check your website’s SSL

Paste a domain or website address. We check the connection on port 443.

The request comes from the Zovvi server. Do not submit links containing passwords or tokens.

What you can check

One simple check. Three good reasons to use it.

Renewing your SSL?

Check the exact expiry date before contacting your provider.

Just migrated?

Look up your domain and check the certificate presented by the new server.

With or without www?

Check the covered names. A subdomain needs to appear in the certificate or be covered by a wildcard.

Your website’s next step
can start right here.

A few things to know before you check

What does the SSL checker look up?

The certificate presented during the domain’s TLS connection: issuer, validity dates and covered names. It uses port 443 and a public IPv4 address resolved by the server.

Does valid SSL mean a website is safe?

The certificate protects the connection and helps validate the server name. It does not establish that content is legitimate or that the website is free of vulnerabilities or malware.

Does this renew or install the certificate?

No. This tool only checks it. Installation and renewal happen in the hosting panel or through the certificate provider.

Why might a check fail?

DNS, network, certificate issues, filtering or downtime can prevent a connection. A failed check alone does not identify which cause applies.
