A few things worth knowing.

Does the converter also compress images?

Yes. Quality controls lossy compression in WebP and AVIF. You can also reduce dimensions. Compare appearance and actual size before downloading: the result depends on the image and may be larger than the original.

How does the daily limit work?

You can start up to 10 conversions a day on this internet connection. Usage is shared across languages, tabs and devices using the same IP; refreshing does not reset it. Every started conversion counts, even if cancelled or unsuccessful. The allowance resets at midnight in the Brasilia time zone.

Is my photo uploaded to Zovvi?

No. Conversion runs on your device. The server only receives a request to check and record daily allowance usage, without the image or its filename.

Which files can I convert?

Static PNG, JPEG and WebP up to 15 MB and 20 million pixels. Animated images become a static frame. Output width is 16–4096 pixels without enlarging the original.

WebP or AVIF?

Try both with your image and compare appearance and size. AVIF may take longer to encode. Check that your publishing system accepts the format.

Will the file always be smaller?

No. Size depends on the original, format and quality. We show the actual size, including an increase. Conversion does not guarantee a speed score.
