Do I need a domain?+
Yes. Business email requires your own domain and access to its DNS settings. You can use a domain you already own. Domain registration is purchased separately and is not included in a Workspace license.
Does every email address need a license?+
Each person who needs a separate account, login and inbox needs a license. Aliases are extra addresses that deliver messages to the same account; they do not create another user or separate inbox. We can help map users, aliases and groups before you order.
Is the annual plan paid up front?+
12-month commitment, billed monthly. License reductions take effect at renewal; early cancellation does not remove the remaining commitment. The annual totals shown represent the selected licenses’ commitment, not a single up-front charge.
Can I bring my existing email?+
We can assess migration from your current provider or transfer of an existing Workspace subscription. Compatibility, data volume, timing and any costs need to be agreed before the move. Keep your current service until the transition plan is confirmed.
Is storage per person or per company?+
Each license contributes to the organization’s pooled storage, used by services such as Gmail and Drive. For example, three Standard licenses contribute 6 TB to the company pool. This does not mean a fixed 2 TB allocation in each email inbox.
What does Gemini add?+
It can help summarize messages, draft text and find information. Starter includes Gemini in Gmail and the Gemini app; Standard and Plus add integration in more applications. Features, limits and availability vary by edition, language and administrator settings. Always review responses before using them.
Is Google Vault a backup?+
No. Vault in Business Plus provides retention, search and eDiscovery for supported services. It does not replace an independent backup and restore solution. If your business needs additional copies, plan that separately.
